We all know the basic 4 seasons. Depending on where you live there can be other seasons as well…mud season, black fly season, mosquito season…the list is endless. My absolute favorite season of all is Late Summer. The days are still warm, the nights are cooler, the bugs have all disappeared, the garden is in full swing and the apples are just about ready to be picked. There is a crispness in the air telling of the coming autumn season. The apple pies will be perfect! Our barn lives in that season.
