Our Bolt Of The Week this time is a pretty batik called Holly by Timeless Treasures. The largest “squares” measure about 3.5″ across. It’s a nice pretty Christmas type green. It’s on sale for $6.00 per yard until 8/30/15 or until it’s gone, whichever comes first.

This weeks Bolt Of The Week is a batik called Cedar and is part of the Serenity Collection by Benartex. It’s on sale for $5.60 per yard until 8/9/15 or until it’s gone, whichever comes first. Check it out here. This batik has a wood bark kind of thing going on. The “stripes” go from about .5″ to about 2″ in width. It’s a nice brown with red undertones. I’ve never seen a cedar tree up close and personal so I’ll take their word that it looks like one. It reminds me of the California Redwoods!

Our Bolt Of The Week for 7/13/15 to 7/19/15 is called Black/Gold Winter Trees by Batavian Batik. I don’t know why they called it gold…it’s not metallic, the trees are beige. The trees are 2.5″ to 4″ tall, most are naked of leaves (hence the winter reference…) and all face the same direction. This would make a great border print or you could fussy cut the trees.
