I’m excited to be participating in Quilt Block Mania. The theme this month is “Neighborhood”. When I first saw this I thought of a street sign. I know, I’m just a little odd… It could be the sign for your street or perhaps a dream vacation spot or maybe a memory of a fun time in your life. I have included a full alphabet in the templates (both upper and lowercase letters) so you can choose your own street name. If you have a really long name I have also given instructions on how you can make your own custom template.

The image above is the final block in it’s basic form. You could embellish with machine stitches, hand work…lots of options.
The pattern will be free until 4-30-23. After that it will be $4 for a download. You can find it here
Be sure and check out what parts of the neighborhood the other designers have dreamed up for you this month! I won’t be participating in the May block but I will be back in June. Hope to see you then!
