Nine Patch Table Runner

A quick and easy pattern, great for beginners or anyone looking for a quick-to-finish project. This table runner consists of three nine-patch blocks with a border. It can be done in everyday or holiday fabrics. As seen in the photograph, the look changes depending on where you place your light and dark fabrics and whether you use a different fabric for the border.

This wall hanging (or kids quilt!) is a great exercise in fabric play. What secrets will your fabric reveal? It appears that you are looking at the fabric through a magnifying glass. Any fabric will do but you can really accentuate the magnified effect if you choose fabrics that have both small and large elements and then fussy cut the required pieces. Extensive tips and photos on selecting fabrics are included in the pattern.

The blocks are simple to construct. The only tricks are; fabric selection and a very consistent seam allowance.

My Pin Collection

What a great way to showcase your pin collection - quilting, sports, charity work, scouting, travel/vacation, ??? Maybe you have ribbons or awards that need a home. The center panel is made up of 2 to 3 fabrics with a coordinating star border. There is a 3D flange around the center panel to frame your collection. Choose fabrics for the center or border with a motif reflecting your pin collection.
