I have wanted to offer my customers books for quite some
time. Unfortunately, that requires a lot of space for storing them, special
packaging for shipping so they don't get bent and the mark-up on books is very
little for a small business like Purple Moose. Fortunately, I found the
affiliates program at Amazon.com.
Purple Moose Designs is a participant in the Amazon
Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to
provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to
Amazon.com.
So, what's that mean? I select books that I would like
to offer you. If you're interested in one, you click on the block on the left.
That will direct you to the Amazon website. If you ultimately buy that book,
then I get a small pittance for telling you about it. You get a great book, I
get a couple of coins to rub together and my storage area is spared from boxes
of books. We all win!

Once Upon A Time Fairy Tale Puzzle Quilts
by Beth
Helfter
$26.95
This is your
chance to bring out your inner princess. Beth has expertly crafted a project
(or four) that you can customize and make it your very own. I have seen most
of the quilts in the book in person and they are all show stoppers. Beth's
writing style is informative with her own unique brand of humor. One of the
few quilt books you will actually "read" from cover to cover! |

The
Sewing Machine Attachment Handbook
by Charlene
Phillips
$11.55
Do you know
what all those feet and attachments are for that came with your machine? Do
you ever use them??? This is a must-have book for every seamstress. Charlene
explains what all those attachments are for and why we would want to use
them. It doesn't matter how old your machine is or what your sewing
preferences are - you will learn something! And did you see the price?? When
was the last time you bought a quilting/sewing book that was that
inexpensive? It's worth at least 3 times that much! |

Moon Dance
by Cary
Flanagan
$26.95
Cary gives
us several projects that showcase those wonderful panels we all buy and
never know what to do with...or that yardage that is just too pretty to cut
up. Don't be fooled by the Asian panels on the cover, it applies to any
style of fabric. |

Thread Work Unraveled
by Sarah Ann
Smith
$18.55
Sarah takes
us through the tangled web of threads - how it's made, what kind to use and
how to use thread to enhance your piecing, applique or quilting projects.
Sarah has a great sense of humor that is interspersed throughout. Another
great quilting/sewing book that you will "read" from cover to cover. |
